Description
Wahkeena Springs is one of many markers of waterfalls, scenic areas and creeks, mainly the Multnomah Creek, throughout the trails along side the Historic Columbia Gorge HWY, Oregon. Waterfalls include Multnomah Falls, Bridal Veil Fall, Latourall Fall, Horsetail Falls and more on various trails.
Trails I did yesterday: Wahkeena (Trail #420), Gorge Trail (Trail #400) and Larch Mountain (#441) which was the starting trail before breaking off into the other two.
Total Distance to and from Multnomah Falls Lodge: 6.5 miles (did a loop that started at Multnomah Falls Lodge and went onto the Wahkeena trail ending at the Wahkeena Falls seen from the historic HWY. 0.6 was added to the walk back to Multnomah Falls. (Our car was there... ))
Distance from Multnomah Falls Lodge: W/ Lookout trail to and from lookout - 3.2 miles. W/O Lookout trail to and from - 2.8 miles.
Multnomah Falls is the 3rd highest Waterfall in the U.S and is the Highest waterfall in Oregon.
Used w/o tripod (which is really hard to keep steady!!) Long exposure.
Thanks to ~DeeOtter for helping me out on learning how to do long exposure. It really helped a lot.

Beautiful picture. Even though it's a photo I feel like if the River is actually running - if you get what I mean.
